Rather than end the multisport season with a bang, these athletes end their season with a SCREAM!

What started out as a single Halloween sprint event in Keller, TX has developed into three, scary sweatfests! A Monster Triathlon (Keller, Texas) a Monster Triathlon (Denton, Texas) and Kids Triathlon (Keller, Texas). 2013 marks year 8 for the Monster Triathlons, which sell-out months in advance with 650 athletes. (We think its because people need to get their costumes ready). The distances are FAST for the experienced athletes and just right for the beginner.

At Monster Keller, you will enjoy the beautiful indoor pool of the Keller Natatorium for a 300 meter swim; jump on your bike for 12 miles, and finish strong with a 3.1 mile run. Each event is a little different at the finish line. Some have live bands, but ALL of the events are filled with energy and WONDERFUL costumes which are ENCOURAGED! This is a great race to end your triathlon season!

Pool Swim – 300 meters / View Map
Pool swim has 50 meter lanes that are 9 ft wide. See the pool.
Bike – 12 miles | View map
The bike course is a two loop course that is 12 miles long. There are a few hills but the course is still fast. Police and volunteers will be at all intersections.
Run – 3 Miles | View Map
The run course is an out and back path on a beautiful wooded trail.

Bring photo ID and USAT card. One day memberships will be available for $12 (Cash or check only) at packet pick up. Temporary USAT cards can be printed here.

You must pick up your own packet. Friends and family members may not pick up packets unless athlete is a minor.

No race day packet pick up.
No race transfers or deferrals.

5:00 am – Turn off alarm and get your costume ready!
6:15 am – Transition Opens/Body Marking Begins
7:15 am – Transition closes/Line up in pool according to your number
7:30 am – Race begins/ Pancake griddles turned on!
10:00 am – Awards Ceremony and Monster Mash dancing!

Parking maps are issued at packet pick-up. There is parking within walking distance of the race site for spectators.
