Disco 5 & 10K Run

Each participant will run the course with lots of entertainment along the way. There will be a great post party with music, hot pancakes and more…
Each runner will receive a “HUGE” Disco Finishers Medal. The goodie bag will have a brightly colored tech shirt that you can wear to other Disco functions. We also encourage each runner to wear some Disco gear. Not mandatory, but why not!
BEST DISCO COSTUME AWARD: There will be a best costume award for both male and female runners… SO DRESS UP!

Come help us celebrate the third annual Disco 5 & 10K Run in Fair Park. Dallas Athletes Racing is excited to welcomeTaylor’s Gift Foundation as our race beneficiary this year. Taylor’s Gift Foundation is a national organization dedicated to a life changing mission to increase organ donation to regift life, renew health and restore families. By focusing on increasing certified organ donation in the United States and worldwide, the foundation has become a positive force in changing the conversation about organ donation. Outlive Yourself.
A portion of your race registration fee will go directly to Taylor’s gift. You can also follow the “donate” and “become a fundraiser” links during the registration process and contribute further to this life changing mission.
We need your help to continue our work in helping the 121,000 people on the organ donation waiting list, 561,000 transplant recipients, and the donor families.
Proceeds raised from this event will help Taylor’s Gift:
- Provide financial support through Legacy Gifts program to those touched by organ donation.
- Award scholarships to high school seniors that have a giving spirit and work to outlive themselves.
- Support the overall mission of the foundation.

It is a relatively flat course… Our 5K & 10K course is flat and fast – yes, really! 10K runners do two loops… Entertainment throughout the course and well stocked Disco aid stations with medical support will be on course. Mile markers at every mile. Overall event operations will be professional and precise.
The start will be organized and tight, the finish line will be a party! After the elite athletes blaze to the finish tape and the rest follow up, our live band will hit the main stage. Performers to be determined and announcement to be made soon.

•Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. No exceptions.
•Race numbers are required to participate.
•You must show photo ID to pick up your race packet and bib number.
•You must be in good health and physically prepared to take on the challenge of the 10k distance.
•Traffic and safety regulations prohibit early starts. Early starters will be eliminated from the official results.
•No coaches, bikes, in-line skates, baby joggers or dogs will be allowed on the course.
•I Pods or other in-your-ear musical devises are strongly discouraged – you definitely won’t need them
This is pretty simple, like Forest Gump, “We are running!” on Sunday, May 31, 2015. Here is where the sweat flies. The course is pretty much “hill-less” so run fast.
The day will include a 10K and 5K Run. We are hard at work to make this a memorable day.

Standard Registration Price
(4-15-2015 to 5-12-2015) 10K Run – $52 / 5K Run – $40
Late Registration Price
(5-13-2015 to 5-26-2015) 10K Run – $57 / 5K Run – $50
All pre-registered runners MUST PICK UP THEIR PACKET BEFORE RACE DAY at any of the locations above.
It is ok for someone else to pick up your packet.

7:30 am – 10K Run/Walk Starts
7:45 am – 5K Run/Walk Starts
8:45 -11:00 am – Entertainment, Food, Drinks, Awards & Prizes
